good times, good times

As usual, instead of studying and doing what I’m suppose to be doing; I decided to update the blog. That reminds me of my 2nd grade class. In order to motivate them to behave well, we had a point system with all the table groups. I would always say, “I’m looking for groups that are doing everything that they’re supposed to be doing.” It just reminded me of that. So today, I would’ve got negative 100000 points.

I did absolutely nothing today. I was starting to get really stressed out last night about the RICA exam coming up in two weeks. There was a 6 hour prep course today, which I didn’t go to. So after church and lunch at Gregoire’s, my plans were to study for the rest of the day. I have a short paper and science final tomorrow. Thursday, I have two more finals. But somehow, I managed to do everything and anything besides study. I cleaned my room, organized all my binders, got everything I needed to study, and even planned out a study schedule for the RICA. What’s wrong with me??? Huh??? I’ll tell you what’s wrong. I need a break from school. It’s been non-stop since the beginning of January. So whenever I do get a small chance to take a breather, I want it to last forever.

This past week started and ended with mucho fun activities. Monday, Susannie and I went horseback riding in Half Moon Bay. The only part I didn’t like was the handless, mexican guide who was hitting on me the entire 2 hour ride. Other than that, the weather was nice and the trail was beautiful~! After that we found this seafood place we use to always go to with our family. The calamari was yummy~ Then randomly we went to Santa Cruz. It was SO hot over and we were stuck in our jeans and boots from riding.

Yesterday, we went rafting in Sacramento. It was sooo relaxing just to lie down on the raft and float along with the river. There were a few parts where the currents got strong and some water got in the raft. Jamie and the other girls were using empty chip bags and cans to get some of it out. The river is pretty wide so we didn’t have to control it that much. But a couple times, when we were chillin and not paying attention, we ran into some branches…not fun. Reminder for next time: bring those huge bazooka water guns to soak people. Thanks for planning everything!!!

Okay, this week I am really going to hardcore study every single day until Friday. CABO Kick off! For now, back to studying. Good night and have a pleasant week.
