first fender bender...

Yesterday was the first day of my second quarter. I though I would be a good student and drive aaallll the way to hayward campus and buy my books. Last semester I wanted to save a few bucks and ordered them on amazon. They ended up taking forever to come and some of them were an older edition, so I had to buy them again. This time I thought I would save myself the trouble and buy them at the school bookstore in Hayward. Since I don't go to the main campus that often, I ended up missing the exit and had to get off the next one. As I was getting off the exit, there was a yield sign and a couple lanes on the left. I quickly glanced at the lanes and saw that there were no cars. So I assumed that the car in front of me just went. I guess I thought too soon. The car didn't go and stopped at the yield sign. and BOOM! it was too late. I crashed into the old honda accord in front of me. It was my fault and I should've been paying more attention. Surprisingly, I was more calm than I thought. I was still a little shaken up though. So, the driver of the car suggests that we pull into the parking lot of the nearby mall. As we begin to exchange information, she tells that she doesn't have a license because it got suspended and it's not her car, it's her boyfriend's mother's car. At this point, she's calling him and telling me that I have to wait until he gets there. He comes like 30 minutes later...doesn't really say much else. Then after we exchanged information he said he would talk to his mom and figure out what they wanted to do. They haven't called yet...

My dad's gonna be oh so thrilled to hear about this one when he gets back from korea. Did I mention I was driving his car?
