i found out to post pictures on this thing...so confusing. thanks john for fixing my comments box. i saw this picture on msn.com and reminded me of school. this is what i see when i walk out of class. the concord campus of csuh (now called csu east bay) is in the boonies. it's not actually too far from the more urban area but the school is located in the hilly mountains of concord. it feels around 10 degrees colder here too. i like natury stuff so i'm not complaining. it's kinda nice to go to school with cows and strange birds making weird sounds. i think they're imitating the car alarms in the parking lot. good luck to them finding mates that way. if all the cows are all black, are they wild cows?

speaking of school....i should stop wasting time and start studying. i have so much reading to catch up on. i only have a few more days of freedom before i start student teaching feb. 1st. i'm excited though...i'll be working in 2nd grade classroom and my master teacher is really nice!
